Jennifer, or as some call her “Office” Jennifer, developed a love of wine through a catering company she joined right out of high school at 17. The owner of the company became a mentor, taking Jennifer under her wing and teaching her all about the world of food and wine and eventually, Jennifer landed her first wine gig at one of the wineries she catered for. And what an experience she had! The first tour she ever gave included a couple who was very touchy and inappropriate with each other. Needless to say, Jennifer had to excuse herself from the tour to recover! She moved onto two other family-owned wineries, St. Supery and Cartlidge & Browne, that not only allowed but encouraged her to prioritize raising her son. She is forever grateful for that time with him. Jennifer went on to work with a larger, corporate winery, and afterwards, found “home” again at Petroni. “…Family-owned and the people really care about each other. You do not often find that any longer and it’s such a gift”
Jennifer loves to swim and bike, as well as get together with friends for wine and cheese, always! She is incredibly modest about her natural talent in the kitchen. Ask her for a recipe, especially to go with our Sauvignon Blanc, her admitted favorite Petroni wine, and she won’t let you down! She often spends time with her son and family, which includes two grandogs, her brother and nieces nearby, and even more family when she travels to the beautiful state of Montana.
